Hey Michael, when you look for BWB oppertunities do you first wait for a spike in volatility? Or does it matter? I know that the high volatility will allow to spread the strikes farther. Or do you start with technicals? support and resistance? You mentioned "swing lows" im assuming on daily charts..
Sorry for the wording and sparatic english.. But u seem to be one of the best at these trades..

Sorry to bug again.. But do you also go out past the front month? In one of your posts u mentioned Dec last year with an 80pt sweet spot.. that sounds tempting, i just learned this month that volatility matters. From the book I kinda wrote it off, but I have seen it work (thanks) any other insights would be helpful

Chinigun - On your question about the charts, in TOS I bring up the chart I want, and under the Studies button choose "Add Study" -> "Volatility Studies" and they are listed under there.

Then, I save the whole set with Save Studies Set. I have a 6 month and 1 year chart with those that I try to consult on each trade.

By the way, it was great to see someone who likes Fooled by Randomness. Taleb is one of my culture heroes, arrogant SOB though he is. I will send you an article from Futures trader about him. Even though he insists that "finance is for Philistines" he continues to trade options.
